Ontario QSO Party 2005

The Manitoulin discovery tour!

This year due to hectic schedules, the only operator available on Saturday was myself - Paul VA3PC. I decided to do things a bit differently. Starting on Manitoulin Island, I would operate there, move to Sudbury District for a couple of hours, drop into the Northern part of Parry Sound district and finish in Nipissing - or so I thought! Ken VA3SK became available on Sunday, so we travelled north and also operated in Temiskaming District. Total of five counties operated from. The only snag we encountered was when driving south again after the contest, we were pulled over by a nice constable who was wondering if we were watching TV instead of driving.
